Food Runner
Responsibilities include:
• Quickly and accurately deliver food from the kitchen to the guests
• A working knowledge of all ingredients and preparation used on the menu to be able to answer guests’ questions
• Know all table numbers and positions to be able to deliver the correct food to the correct guest without asking the guest “who had what?”
• Assist the servers in making sure the guests have everything they need
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed
Qualifications:
• At least 1-year experience working in a full-service restaurant
• Passion for excellent customer service
• Outgoing personality-a “people person”
• Excellent communication skills with guests, co-workers, and management
• Ability to carry plates, and glasses using trays
• Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
• Ability towalk or stand for long periods of time
